Frederic Scheer is a visionary entrepreneur and the CEO of ALERCELL, a molecular diagnostics company dedicated to advancing cancer care through innovative in-vitro diagnostic solutions. With certifications in Genetics and Precision Oncology from Harvard Medical School and training in Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare Applications from MIT, he brings a unique combination of scientific insight and technological expertise to the fight against cancer.
With over 30 years of experience across healthcare, sustainability, energy, and finance, Frederic has consistently been at the forefront of transformative innovation. He is best known as the founder of Cereplast, a trailblazing company in the bioplastics industry. Under his leadership, Cereplast secured more than 17 patents in biodegradable materials and nanotechnology, positioning the company as a global pioneer in sustainable manufacturing.
In addition to his work in healthcare and environmental technology, Frederic has founded and led ventures such as L6NRG, an independent energy company, and Libra6 Management, a financial advisory firm that co-finances media projects with major studios. His philanthropic work through the Frederic & Jocelyne Scheer Foundation reflects his commitment to global impact. The foundation’s initiatives include building a cassava processing plant in Tanzania to fight malnutrition and create sustainable employment for local communities. The Foundation partners with local orphanages in several African countries, ensuring reliable food access for around 1,000 children. In addition, the Foundation is establishing a center for women facing abuse, creating a safe and protective environment to support them.
